My name is Ellie and I am the owner of Ellie Tonev Photography. After I graduated from Business School in Chicago in 2008, I started taking photography courses and got certified as a 200 hr. Yoga Instructor at the same time. My passions for photography and yoga grew hand in hand. Soon enough, I combined both together, after leaving my career in Finance to take care of my newborn daughter. She became my favorite model.
For me photography means connecting with the soul that’s in front of me, discovering the beauty in their expression and capturing the magic of light.
I specialize in “on location” children’s, family and fitness photography and live in Westport, CT with my partner and our 3 children. The beach is always my happy place.
